Crafting a winning mindset is not an easy task.

A winning mindset isn’t something that you download to your brain like software!!

Too bad it wasn’t as easy as that huh? Whoever would write that program truly would be the richest person on this planet. Not only in a monetary sense, but also in a wisdom & mastery capacity.

Psychological conditioning began when we 1st entered this World, yep, right out of the birth canal. Is it really true that we were given our very 1st dose of negative energy from a Doctor in the form of a SLAP?

It honestly makes you wonder…doesn’t it? I mean, how many Doctor’s right this moment are being called out by disgruntled people who possess extraordinary memories of the event. You just never know now, do you?

Parents raise their children the best that they know how, with only the purest of intentions. Now, depending on how they were raised themselves determines if instilling a winning mindset will be of any importance to them at all.

I remember a Psychologist friend mentioning to me that an individual’s behavioral patterns are established at birth & develop up until the age of 7 years. This is the MOST impressionable period in life.

See, I was totally being realistic & rational when I was telling you the Doctor story. I speak the truth, lol.

So, let’s fast forward to adulthood. I don’t think that there is a storage unit big enough to hold all of the ‘stuff’ that we have accumulated & held on to throughout the years. And I’m not saying that all of our ‘stuff’ is bad either.

Whatever type of success it is that you are pursuing, you must constantly work on maintaining a winning mindset!!

There are NO ands, ifs or buts about it. Set up success in your mind as if it were a never ending stairway & with every accomplishment…you move forward, while moving upward simultaneously.

Are you going to encounter times when you think you are standing still? Of course you are, it’s a part of the game that you are playing…just don’t make a habit of idling for too long too often.

Surround yourself with positives that will nurture a winning mindset!!

If you have HI-OCTANE dreams of what you’d like to do with your life, then you better have a HI-OCTANE type of winning mindset to keep you moving, no matter what life throws at you.

I know that you are 1 of a rare breed. I also know that you have greatness inside of you, whether you have discovered it yet or not I don’t know. I know that you’re in it for the long haul & you’ll do whatever it takes to make it.

Keep your eye on the prize, stay focused & continue crafting a winning mindset!!

    Hi Steve,

    It’s been said that, when we’re born, we are like shiny little mirrors. Through the years, however, we accumulate dust, dirt, and grime in the form of unhealthy beliefs, thoughts, and emotions.

    We identify with these negative traits, believing that’s who we really are, because we can no longer see the shiny mirror that is our true selves.

    The fact that most of this dust, like you say, accumulates on our mirrors before we’re seven years old, tells us that we take on the mindset of our parents and other influential adults. We don’t have to live this way, however.

    Hey Steven,

    You’re Bang on with this post mate. I’m a great believer in doing all you can to be immersed in the right kind of mindset.

    Reading autobiographies of successful people, surrounding yourself with supportive and positive minded friends and colleagues are just a couple of ways to do this.

    Our daughter was born at home with warm lighting and soft music for exactly the reasons you described above. We’re being conditioned right from the word go.

    Mindset if the roots. The fruits cannot grow differently than the roots allow, so mindset has to come first…

      It’s so true, our mind can be our BEST friend or our WORST enemy. If we can keep it somewhat in the middle, then we’re doing quite well.

    Attitude IS everything! Two people may have the same “negative” experience but it is the one with the “winning mindset” that will use that “negative” experience and turn it around and use it to propel himself/herself forward. Turning a “negative” experience into a “positive” one. Keep in mind that “negative” and “positive” are just our perspective on things. Thanks for another great post!

      You are so right, there are SO MANY people who live their life in a ‘negative’ energy & these are the types who attract nothing else but ‘chains of events’ that aren’t so pleasant. Keep them away from me.

      Attitude definitely is KING.
