Are You Losing Sleep To Commenting?

Well, the Search Engines are counting your words as if they were sheep!!

If the Guru’s have you brainwashed into believing that Blog Commenting is a total waste of time, it’s probably because they want to scarf up ALL of the ‘gravy traffic’ that this strategy generates…NO LIES.

Ever since I have joined The Unified Tribe, I have grooved into a rhythm of visiting & commenting on fellow Unified Tribe members’ Blogs. It’s all about RECIPROCITY & paying it forward you know.

Now, here is the COOLEST part. Every couple of days, I Google my first & last name just out of curiosity & I’m finding that my comments are being indexed by the Search Engines!! Why? Cuz I make sure I include my COMPLETE name closing out every comment.

Yes, the spiders are crawling Blog comments continuously…contrary to what you have probably heard from the Guru’s.

It’s a WIN-WIN for myself & the Blog author (their Blog title & URL are indexed along with my name, partial comment etc). Didn’t I mention that it’s all about paying it forward?

So, if you would like to see these same results for yourself…give this little optimization trick a whirl. IT WORKS!!

Hi Steve, is the reason for using your entire time in comments because most entrepreneurs use their name as their domain name?

I don’t use my name for my domain name, but after reading your post I googled my name and a few things came up. Mostly my twitter info, my activity on better networker and a few others. But then I searched my blog name and all kinds of my posts came up.

In my case, do you think that I should use my domain name when I am leaving comments?

Thanks for stopping by…it’s so nice seeing you again.

I would include your domain name when leaving comments for sure. It will only add to what you have accumulated so far on Google, Yahoo, etc.

I sign off using my whole name because it is the way I like to close out my comments & the Search Engine’s indexing is an added bonus…a little gravy exposure if you will!!

I also only realized this recently. I googled my name to see if search engines were finding my blog and online articles (they were) but also came across dozens of mentions of my name from commenting on others blogs, all with links back to my own blog, and that’s got to me a good thing for overall traffic!

I didn’t think of it as an SEO strategy at first, but then when I Googled my name, Blogs that I commented at were popping up all down the page. Now, I’m happy that I did it from the very beginning. It definitely establishes ‘social proof’ in the eyes of others.
