Have You Hugged Your Blog Alexa Rankings Lately?

Ever since I created my very own Blog, I’ve been exposed to the term ‘Blog Alexa Rankings‘.

Being brand new & VERY green behind the ears, I really didn’t take it seriously or give it much thought. Wasn’t owning a Blog cool enough? Why on earth should I give Blog Alexa Rankings any consideration at all?

So, as I moved forward with my Blogging experience…I created fresh content on a fairly regular basis, came up with catchy titles that I thought would pique interest so as to attract new and/or returning visitors. I also learned the meaning of keywords, but didn’t really grasp their importance just yet.

As far as Google goes, well…I didn’t concern myself AT ALL regarding it, let alone how Blog Alexa Rankings figured into the mix.

One of my passions is acknowledging & recognizing others, not only while I’m Online, but wherever I go. At this point, I began to venture over to other people’s Blogs. There are so many different types of personalities ‘built in’ to Blogs…it is truly fantastic to see. It was then, that I started to notice Blog Alexa Rankings badges here & there.

I also started to notice that I was at the forefront of pioneering ‘brand recognition’ for myself as a result of my daily Blog commenting. You can see what I mean by checking out my other article…

As a result of this, Google & Blog Alexa Rankings were beginning to make more sense to me!!

Okay, so fast forward to today May 31st 2011. I have learned so much since I originally launched this Blog, which was the early part of May 2010. HOLY COW, it’s been 1 year. Time flies.

Just recently, I have officially joined up with Jordan Schultz & my learning curve has traveled ‘off the charts’. Jordan is well versed on the subject of Blog Alexa Rankings, his Blog is ranked 75,853 in the world as I’m writing this article. Needless to say, I’m listening to Jordan’s EVERY WORD!!

Via a recommendation by Jordan, I picked up a really cool tool…it’s called SEOPressor. I use it now, EVERY time that I create new content…like right now. I purchased it on May 17th, only 2 weeks ago. It works with ‘I can’t make a mistake’ ease, showing me exactly what I need to do in order to ‘juice up’ my writing & fully optimize for higher Blog Alexa Rankings.

I am happy to announce that my Blog Alexa Rankings have shot up 27,265 positions since I implemented SEOPressor into my content creation. I am definitely a happy Blogger & I look forward to even more happiness as I continue to polish my skills via education.

I’ve realized too, that I’m writing with more energy & confidence…what I have in my head is making it to the ‘paper’ in an easier fashion. In fact, I cannot wait until my next post!!

In summary here, I’m not exactly sure of where you’re at in your total Blogging experience. IF you’re not completely thrilled with your Blog Alexa Rankings, I’ve found that SEOPressor is a key ingredient to having ALL your ducks lined up in a row.

    Great post, Steven! Congratulations on your jump in rank! I first checked Alexa in March, and I was 801K. Now, thanks to challenges and syndication groups, I go between 451K and 460K. It’s always nice to know that others are coming by to see what you have to say.

      Hi Steve!

      I also want to knock my ‘value ranking’ out of the park too. Alexa is a fantastic measuring stick & it motivates me to consistently add fresh content daily. I’m a participant in a 100 Day Biz Builder Champion Challenge that just began on May 26th. I’ll be excited to see how far up I can actually climb at the conclusion of this challenge.

      Alexa is definitely a steady motivator for sure & the more popular that our Blog becomes…so comes the much sought after traffic.

      The search engines are also ‘crawling’ comments as well…a WIN WIN for everyone.

    Congrats! Steve on the Alexa rankings and really helpful info that you are providing here. I started following my Alexa ranking October 2010 when I started my blog. Started with 14 sites linking to now 41 and US ranking from 201,908 to 148,380.

    Everyone should know that the ‘lower’ number is a good thing! Alexa ranking is different than Google, where Google you want a higher ranking number.

    I would say you are certainly going in the right direction and doing a great job. Glad that we recently connected and look forward to seeing more great things from you!

    hi Steven. Very good post. Your Alexa ranking is a great indicator of how much of an impact you are having in the internet world. I have been operating my blog for right at 4 months now, and I’m currently at 324,821 wold wide. One of my goals is to disprove people that say you cannot get good rank using blogger. I hope to get under 100K with this blogger blog within the next 4 months.

    Steven how are you? I am always checking my site’s ranking and PR, I am trying to get my Alexa ranking down from 452,000 something to 400,000 because I am trying to get Young Pre Pro to guest blog on my site and he will only do it on 400,000 and below Alexa ranking sites and since he is my good friend I respect his request and I’m trying to get there. He also supports Google and Alexa rankings and their importance so that is 3 of us now, with you in the mix : )

    Congrats. I love to keep a regular eye on my Alexa ranking – it’s not the be all and end all but it is a fair gauge of whether you’re heading in the right direction.

    Happy to see that you’re still climbing as I write, just over a month after this post was first published… The right tools, bucket loads of passion, and consistent effort are the keys to keep it going!

    Congrats on your Alexa Score, it’s great to see it moving in the right direction.

    SEO Pressor has really done wonders for my SEO and score as well. Although I’ve noticed it’s bouncing around a lot lately from 600,000 to 800,000. The key is to be consistent with posts and keep up with leaving comments on other blogs. Time to take my own advice ;)

      I couldn’t agree with you more, I just recently started sitting up straighter at the SEO table & my Alexa is reflecting it. A steady dosage of fresh content & blog commenting is a nice combo to catch the search engines attention…I have found.
