Chasing down the secret to success…

You can spend countless hours in hot pursuit of it, continuously losing precious sleep over it, maybe even walking away from a relationship because of it.

BUT, there’s 1 thing you’ll never do in a million years…QUIT THE GAME.

This is an area where A LOT of people fall short in their search for the secret to success. Especially now, in this modern day of instant gratification when everything under the sun is only a point & click away.

Many people live in a World of distraction, patience no longer exists & if they cannot get something they want at ‘lightning fast speed’…they slip into a state of meltdown. Is that vein in their head ready to pop yet?

(I know, the Internet has spoiled us ROYALLY, convenience is almost too convenient today.)

It’s really sad because there are 1000′s of these personalities, running around on the Internet, trying to track down the secret to success!!

They fall prey to the predators who are lining their pockets with cash, selling their ‘magic bullet’ secret to success information quicker than it can be shipped or downloaded.

Unfortunately, this is the process that many individuals go through when they 1st come online. Not knowing any better, they keep falling into the same old marketing traps that are set by the ‘hunters’ who are out to make huge amounts of money in the short term.

I’ve learned, 1st hand, that the secret to success isn’t something that can be easily purchased with a credit card.

The secret to success is a mindset!!

You have to be psychologically tough in order to plow through & overcome any adversity when you meet it & you WILL meet it.

I always fall back to the words of Les Brown’s ‘You Deserve’ motivational seminar.

Les said that the biggest problem that many people face is that they QUIT before they even get started. Their ‘inner voice’ talks them out of whatever it was that they were setting out to do.

Even Les himself spoke of a personal situation when he was presented with a major project & he walked away from it because he didn’t think he could handle it. His inner voice kicked in, telling him that he wasn’t experienced enough to take on such a responsibility & he listened to that voice.

Les also went on to say that the richest places on the planet aren’t the various gold or diamond mines, but the graveyards. People who let their inner conversation follow them to their graves.

Inventions that we were never exposed to, ideas & dreams that never became reality, hopes & aspirations that were never acted upon. All of the possibilities that could of happened, but didn’t because people gave up & quit on themselves.

Who knows what type of impact these people may have made on the World, if only for a slight shift in mindset.

The secret to success was staring them right in the face, but they were too afraid to stare back!!
